We developed a unified visual communication system for SYSTEX Corporation's three carbon and energy management product lines — translating complex sustainability platforms into clear, accessible narratives through product animation, visual design, and exhibition applications.
SYSTEX Corporation offers three distinct carbon and energy management platforms — EnVision360 for energy monitoring, Carbon Envision for carbon inventory, and FootPrint Carbon for product carbon footprint calculation. Each addresses a different stage of corporate sustainability, but all needed to communicate clearly to non-technical audiences at industry exhibitions and business events.
The challenge was twofold. On the design side, the three product lines needed a shared visual language that positioned them as part of one cohesive system, while giving each product enough distinction to stand on its own. On the coordination side, each product line operated under a separate internal team, requiring us to align content, direction, and approval across multiple stakeholders without compromising design consistency or project momentum.
For each product line, we worked directly with its internal team to break down the platform's functionality into a clear narrative structure — making complex carbon management and energy monitoring tools understandable for corporate decision-makers evaluating sustainability solutions.
To produce the three explainer videos, we followed a structured phased process: reference gathering, visual style development, static design, storyboarding, motion scripting, and final animation with voiceover and sound design. Each phase required sign-off before moving forward, keeping three parallel workstreams aligned and preventing late-stage revisions from cascading back through the production pipeline. The exhibition graphics and spatial applications were then developed to extend this visual language into physical environments.
The explainer videos gave SYSTEX Corporation a reusable communication tool for each product line — used across exhibitions, client presentations, and internal stakeholder briefings. The structured production process also established a working model that carried into subsequent phases of the ongoing collaboration.
