Developed the 2024 annual sustainability reports for MasterLink Securities and MasterLink Futures — two publications totaling nearly 200 pages. We led the full editorial design process from content structure and visual system development to multi-designer coordination and quality assurance, delivering reports that meet regulatory standards while communicating the company's ESG commitments with clarity and consistency.
MasterLink Securities needed annual sustainability reports for both its securities and futures divisions — a regulatory requirement for all publicly listed companies. The challenge lay in managing nearly 200 pages of dense ESG content sourced from multiple departments and an external consultancy, while coordinating a five-designer team to produce two publications that read as if completed by a single hand.
We structured the project around editorial control and team coordination. Before any design work began, we established a unified visual system — defining typography, spacing, color usage, and layout grids — so that five designers could work on separate chapters simultaneously without compromising consistency.
The visual direction followed the client's brand identity, anchored in their signature red, while introducing a warm, approachable illustration style that balances professionalism with accessibility. The goal was to make a compliance-driven document feel like something people would actually want to read.
Beyond layout and design, we built a dedicated quality assurance process into the workflow. A financial content specialist reviewed all data and copy against source materials, catching inconsistencies that had gone undetected in previous editions. This layer of verification reflects how we approach editorial projects — design quality and content accuracy are treated as equally non-negotiable.
The final reports serve as MasterLink's official ESG communications — digital publications representing the company's public commitment to sustainability. By integrating editorial design with structured project management and independent content verification, we delivered two cohesive publications that elevate the standard of what a compliance document can be.
